M81. This galaxy is thought to harbor magnetars, which are a type of dense neutron star with powerful magnetic fields. Magnetars may be the origin of the still mysterious fast radio bursts. At the bottom of the photo is the Cigar Galaxy. ~3hrs exposure on my tiny scope!
