This is crazy! What is happening here? These LEDs do not turn on and off, but appear to in video, but only when there is backlight so the phone's "aperture" reduces.
Only 3 wires so I think the implied frequency of the cheapass power supply is 300K Hz!!!

The first three paragraphs are basically a mix of whining about how hard the job is (true, but buck up), and saying-without-saying that "initially blocking him was a mistake, so reinstating him at least provisionally was the right thing to do". Good: the main characters (Elphaba and G[a]linda); quality and overall commitment of the production.
Weaker: 2ary characters (even Glinda at times) exactly as shallow as the plot needs at the moment.
