Canadian feeling patriotic and bit nostalgic so I created a memorabilia shelf from Prince Edward Island. Each item has some reference to the province or memories from growing up.
I’m thinking of perhaps creating one for each province and the territories (13 in all) and making a calendar.

“The Left” and “the Right” aren’t real.
They’re made-up clubs, invented and sold to the public by the people in power…
and by the loudest people with the most to gain.

This is classic CDN media misrepresentation.
What went down at Christie Pits wasn't two sides of the same issue.
This was a hate rally demanding mass deportations against people who live in Toronto. It was a fascist hate gathering.
They were countered by people standing up for their neighbours.

Parents aren’t blaming teachers; they’re blaming Danielle Smith. And they’re right to do so:

Alberta is the richest province in Canada, yet we spend the least per student. That’s not an accident. That’s a choice.

Let's stand with teachers and stand up for public education.
Let's stand with Alberta's teachers.

The bird is a black and white relative of the crow that excels at opportunistic feeding.

It will eat anything out of anybody’s trash can.

It will even follow coyotes to carrion and then barge in.

To understand Alberta’s chaos-making premier, consider the magpie, writes Andrew Nikiforuk. 🐦

In 1890, the Tariff Act came into place in the United States. It placed tariffs on imports of up to 50%.
While touted as a way to build American industry, there was also the hope it would force an annexation of Canada. It backfired.
Let's learn more.

If you take Canadian oil out of the equation, Canada actually has a trade deficit, and the U.S. has a surplus — of $58 billion.
We supply cheap oil to the USA to ensure North American energy independence, so North America can never again be held hostage by OPEC countries.

NDP Leader Naheed @naheednenshi.bsky.social calling for Smith's resignation today if the allegations published in the Globe are true about her former Chief of Staff Marshall Smith.

Nenshi says either Smith knew & she's complicit or she didn't know and she's incompetent.

~Essentially, avoid buying products made in the US. Instead, buy from other countries if unavailable here.

Sorry to our American friends. We should not support the destruction of your beautiful country nor all the bigotry and racism from Trump.
