The Department of Justice said it won’t defend against a legal challenge to the law defining HSIs as having at least 25 percent Hispanic undergraduates. The program’s future is in jeopardy.

ARRC (@arrc.bsky.social) will continue it's work on Rural-Serving Institutions. In partnership with Child Trends, we received a $450k grant from the ECMC Foundation to create a typology of RSIs and examine their contributions to rural communities. This project is led by @ceciliaorphan.bsky.social.
