For the eye screen, I scanned the interior to create a bridge between the rough sculpted surface and the smooth surface of the scrim sheet. Is this clever laziness or overkill? IDK. The prints look ridiculous though so I wanna show you:

#Defcon is this weekend and while the climate wasn't right for me to attend from overseas, I helped out with the art for DEFCON Furs. I got to work in some new media which is cool as hell. Thankful for the opportunity! :>

I'm posting as I make slow and unglamorous progress on this first attempt at a fursuit head. As I cut it apart now in an attempt to correct an ugly stylistic mistake, the quote comes to mind.

A Russian writer and Soviet dissident named Venedikt Yerofeyev wrote a book called 'Moscow to the end of the line' — an alcohol-soaked work of prose in which he describes trying and failing to reach his destination by train. It contains a comically sardonic quote which is one of my favorites.
