Despite everything I've said, despite its qualities and flaws, it has become one of my favorite games and the experience has still left its mark on me (despite the most frustrating moments in Final Song)

Yes, the game is good but very flawed: frame rate issues, a punishing final boss, and ultra-linear levels are to blame. The combat is more polished, with various unique weapons and an interesting bestiary. The story is decent despite a few missteps.

This will be my first Sakura Wars game :)
No idea if it's a new installment or a reboot, but I do know that the 2019 game is no longer a Tactical RPG (1-5) like Fire Emblem, but rather an action RPG, although it still retains the VN and battle simulation genre.
