Mom (far rt.) played basketball as a guard, which apparently back in the 60s meant you couldn't cross half-court or shoot the ball. Her final game, the coach put her in as forward, and said "Nobody can shoot until Agnes scores". She said after several tries she scored the only points of her career.

I haven’t played much hockey in 2025, due to a mix of burnout, business, family obligations, and age. But I strapped on the pads this week and played in the Motley Crew / Puckaneers holiday scrimmage. Took the ice with my wife and oldest daughter too!
