And so what if they are "trained" or "untrained"? How is that relevant?

if you are the victim of their brutality and murder it really doesn't matter if you were murdered by a racist misogynist hired off the street or a highly trained, expert, military professional does it?

Right. Jonathan Ross was a 10-year veteran of ICE, CBP before that, and a firearms instructor on top of everything else. He wasn't untrained; he did exactly what he intended to do.

It is infuriating. I was actually trying to watch the news and if I hear one more asshole talk about their training I will want to put a needle in my eye so I had to stop.

"Hold a gold medal up and say "Fuck ICE." That's important right now."

I have learned the hard way (2 years medical bedrest, almost dying, blood pressure stuck at 200 over 115) that I can heal medically without being present in my body. It is central to the process.

This is the Vagus nerve. I know there is a lot of talk about the Vagus nerve lately, so use your critical thinking brain. it’s important. it is the longest nerve in the body, connects all our organs in communication with each other. It mediates the constant dance between fight/flight & rest/digest

Cool! What is the date? It is crazy but history changes all the time.

I can’t find that one at the moment but I love this one. It shows his rigorous approach.
FYI since this video the dating issues were resolved and wow, I did not know that Africa had the first Iron Age:

Citations, please because now I’m interested! Im not a paleontologist but I follow some on YouTube. Stephan Milo is my favorite because his citations are impeccable. It was his review of the current literature a few years ago that had me thinking, maybe it wasn’t a genocide?

Exactly. I will be pleasantly surprised if we have an election, Frankly.
But for me, what I see? This country requires total reconstruction. Reconstruction, but right this time, with #LandBack and U.S. out of everywhere.

Also I was learning about the masacre of the Herero people by Germany at the turn of the 20th Century. Once Hasbara blew up I saw how it had distorted our understanding of colonial genocide. So I’m extra concerned about this framing and how it is wielded

“Three generations of morons are enough.” Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, justifying forced sterilization. I will never forget it.
Also Killing The Black Body by the brilliant Dorothy Roberts tells the history of the “Mississippi Appendectomy” and forced sterilization of Indigenous folks

Much of what German eugenics got from the U.S. was regarding its treatment of Disabled people. Brandt's lawyer at Nuremberg defended him by asking how bad the forced sterilization programs Brandt oversaw could have been given the U.S. Supreme Court upheld Buck v. Bell.
Indiana's compulsory sterilization law was overturned by the Indiana Supreme Court in 1921, but in 1927 the U.S. Supreme Court upheld Virginia's compulsory sterilization law for patients of mental institutions in Buck v. Bell.

Buck v. Bell has never been overturned.

I was happy to learn the current theory about their demise is that it had more to do with climate change and intense interbreeding.
Also most humans have 5% Neanderthal DNA, right?
