Now watching for the very first time

First movie of the month:
Puppetmaster (1989):

It was an interesting watch, though some of the human characters aren't that interesting. The Puppets, on the other hand, are far more intriguing. Despite things not explained thoroughly, I do enjoy some of the scenes, but I do wish I got a bit more.

Finally, back to Gene Kelly, on skates at age 68 in Xanadu (1980) at the height of roller-disco excess: www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_F0...

I would love to know how Xanadu came to be. Guess I’ll go down that rabbit hole. Number of thoughts on this film, although simply stated: I liked it.

And damn, it reminded me how roller skating is fun. I have roller skates in my amazon cart now. Do I buy them?
