Went dogsledding today as research for the new book. Fully CRASHED. Musher was so apologetic but I was thrilled. As soon as I hit the snow I was struck with inspiration and knew it was going into the story.

Recipe testing today for the new book. Mulled wine, rustic bread, and a mushroom sauce. Despite appearances to the contrary, this new book does NOT take place in a fantasy tavern.
