The most fun example of these technologies colliding was the Indiana Jones Adventure preshow. There was a big ol tri-color projector sitting next to a period-appropriate fake film projector

Perhaps I am showing my age and my specific expertise, but I remember when Disneyland and Walt Disney World started replacing their film projectors with these tri-copor videos projectors and being amazed with the technology. Then years later seeing the digital projectors replace the video projectors

Every day I read about awful operational decisions Disney makes to maximize profit while simultaneously lowering the guest experience.

Today it is the Beak and Barrel seating guests at tables with other groups on hastily added chairs with their backs facing all the effects and decor.
