It's basically a place where corrupted magic gathered, took the form of several factories and began manufacturing monsters/altering people into monsters.
I have a dark magic paper factory, -wood pulp factory, -waterwheel, -water hammer, and a vampiric manor being slowly eaten by fantasy-space.
Had On the Wane by Sirenia stuck in my head for two days. Now writing another monstrous pair for the gothic metal and factories inspired dark fantasy world.

Wow! We hit our first stretch goal on the Detectives Collide Kickstarter in eight hours. That means backers get an extra short story from me and from Dean in addition to the 100 detective stories in the books! Lots of #reading, folks! Thanks, backers!

I did read Dean Wesley Smith, Kristine Grayson/Kristine Kathryn Rusch, Carol Goodman, James S.A Corey, Stefon Mears' short stories, Icy Sedgwick short stories, a lot of Patricia McKillip's stories and Christine Pope's Beauty and the Beast retelling.
Also I should keep a Read -list.
If you asked me what I read last year the answer would be....give me a day or two to compile a list.
I'm not making New Years Resolutions this year. Instead I just started reading more books and doomscrolling less, in early december.

I'm going to try and maintain the habit as long as I can.
