Fenland is my home and muse.
One day maybe I’ll get to return but there is so much to seen in the world and I can’t bring myself to travel to the lovely USA at the moment

I’m afraid it’s just inevitable - I’ve been printing in the darkroom for 45 years and it’s a life long passion - if you want to keep it up then use less film (be selective it’s no bad thing) and use smaller paper - I’ve standardised on 5x7. I may eat and drink less too 😂

Yes I have two but only one loading guide - the other is in the house somewhere but goodness knows where

I don’t worry too much to be honest as I don’t expose a ton of film.

Not really I just like to use it plus it takes glass plates and excellent for double sided X-ray film.
For chemical efficiency I’d use the Stearman Press tank

It is yes - I started with a Sinar monorail but now I use this for I guess the last 10 years or so - time flies

After 25 years of photography within a 10 mile radius of home I know when to go out and when to stay home , the benefits of familiarity…

Well it was mostly drained by a Dutchman

I will persevere with it in the summer - thanks

I went through some print boxes and found similar pictures of our daughter when she was 5 or 6 - so precious

That’s a beautiful moment preserved - make a print

To be honest it’s a huge discussion with no clear answers as there are so many factors we can point to for poisoning the world - most in far greater proportions than a little photo chemicals. The “greenness” of caffenol is also debatable as it works best with cheap coffee - farmers income?

Down the waste pipe

Those results look great - Instax mini photos make great memories

It’s a unique camera I have to say - we talked about the about it a lot on our podcast
