I was a reporter and editor back when newspapers were popular and meaningful. I've been in 50 states and nine provinces. I was a boy reporter in Georgia who covered Jimmy Carter when he ran for governor in 1966. I met him again in Canada many years later.
To answer my own question, I see that it's a degree in "leadership and education" from a Kentucky private university.

True, but with 50-year mortgages it would take many years, decades actually, to pay a significant amount of the principal. And of course there's no guarantee of prosperity and rising home prices.

I grew up in the rural Deep South and it's always been a great thrill to be a visitor in New York City. Wonderful city with lovely parks and river views as well as the ever-vibrant commerce and entertainment. And everyone we've encountered has been friendly and helpful.
