One Neoliberal approach to mitigating the optics of mass layoffs is to give the laid off some free counselling on their way out the door. Emotional resources as human resources. Reminds me of all the cupcakes folks are given when their contract isn't renewed.

This statement isn’t about what’s missing. It’s about what’s present, movement, silence, dance, writing. All of it matters.
