Glad to have popped into the Wolverhampton Amnesty Letter and Card Writing Afternoon last weekend at Bantock Park.

The cards we made are sent to individuals whose human rights are being abused and are at risk throughout the world.

Delighted to have popped into the NHS Blood and Transplant’s Pop-Up Shop, in the Community Hub in the Mander Centre.

The NHS in England is urging donors to book and stick to their appointments in the lead-up to Christmas. Each donation can save or improve the lives of up to three people.

In March, the West Midlands hosted the Kabaddi World Cup.

This was the first time the competition had been held outside of Asia, and I was lucky enough to attend the semi-final and final at WV Active Aldersley, which is in my constituency of Wolverhampton West.

It was a privilege to formally open the Wolverhampton 'Kick Diabetes Out of the UK' Football Tournament last Saturday at Tettenhall College.

The tournament was held in recognition of World Diabetes Day, and was the first of its kind within Wolverhampton.
