To thank and congratulate the England team for being finalists in the competition, Sureena Brackenridge MP and I proudly hosted them in Parliament last week.

I have enjoyed Kabaddi throughout my life, and I firmly believe Wolverhampton is the home of the sport.

I continue to have regular meetings with Anthony Tagg, Chief Superintendent for Wolverhampton, and implore anyone who is a victim of crime to report it to the police.

I was glad to be able to sit on a panel at Guru Teg Bahadur Gurdwara alongside representatives from the council, police, and local Gurdwaras to reassure the community that we are taking the issue seriously.

I have spoken in debates in Parliament about Violence Against Women and Girls since being elected, and I will continue to do so.

I know that cost-of-living pressures are still a reality for many people in Wolverhampton West, and transport costs are a significant part of that.

So I am encouraged that Labour is taking this step to keep household costs down.
