There was a largeish Apple YouTuber (Luke Miani) who made a video about this stuff earlier this week. He had never once talked about politics on his channel until this week. But he did not mince words.

You can look into Switch Bot they have local saving by default www.switch-bot.com/products/swi... there will probably be some things that are less polished but I haven't seen anything sketchy about them yet...
