Today I flushed my water heater and replaced the anode. Neither of those things had been done during my regular "service checks" by the company I'm stuck renting it from.
Herculean effort by the old rod on the left, but that should have been replaced years ago.

First one feels like the forest is too far away, if you're actually *in* the forest I'd expect the second one. First would be good for snowy plains with the forest in the distance.

The back half of season 6 of My Hero Academia they rushed the dubs and ended up using cheap auto-subtitles for the English track, with some... Interesting results...

First loaf of overnight bread out of the new dutch oven, chili simmering on the stove, kids playing air hockey downstairs, I'd call it a good start to the weekend after a stressful week.

Not quite as impressive as the examples in the thread but I still have this photo from two winters ago. Took the dog out at 1AM and saw this and a gaggle of partridges running down the back lane.

I love that the casting announcement used the "ruggedly handsome" variant and not the "Friar Bowlcut" version that's the more common representation in the comics. But was that a deliberate misdirection by the studio, or did someone just assume because Nathan Fillion.

The big weather systems coming from northern Alberta tend to get caught by the valley and funneled directly towards Regina, you can tell it basically stops at the 11. I can generally assume whatever weather my sister in Edmonton complains about will be in Regina by the next day.

Needed some "industrial" glue for a phone screen replacement, wasn't sure which one I needed so I got both but the naming scheme bothers me: there's a black version and a transparent version. One is B-7000 and the other is T-7000 and if you had to guess which was which by the name you'd be wrong.

I get it, the coldest it gets where you live is always super cold if you've never been anywhere colder, everyone loves laughing at Californians putting on sweaters for room temp weather, but maybe your "humid sub-tropical" climate shouldn't be competing so vocally in the cold weather Olympics either

I tell you, the disappointment I felt when I got closer and discovered it was actually just 36 smaller bags and not just one giant Costco sized bag of Hawkins Cheezies...
