Ah yes- thanks for clarifying. Still perfectly proper for the media to report these things I'd say, even if they're disputed. The idea TB would do anything detrimental to BHAFC is ludicrous of course but it's a strange world these guys operate in.

As I understand it, they're mainly reporting on things which are being claimed in a civil court. And it's entirely possible that case may be thrown out as having no merit. But banning the paper feels rather like shooting the messenger.

Banning people makes you look guilty. (whatever the facts of the case). First time I've ever thought TB has made a mistake in managing his club.

Yes there’s some truth in all that I think. Bigger clubs have 3 or 4 writers and some of them can afford to be more incisive.

No I think I agree with you. He's a good reporter but perhaps not a journalist for the bigger picture.

I think he's an excellent reporter but I also don't think he or the Athletic have any interest in the behind-the-scenes analysis that you get with some of the bigger clubs.

That's interesting. I feel it's a topic that Andy Naylor or others should have dug into a bit more. I appreciate some of it may be private for good reason but a bit of explanation would have been appreciated.

I agree. I don't know what's gone wrong with him but given we're short, Roma don't want him maybe it could still make sense. (And just maybe it leads to a miracle resurrection...I can dream)

Really sorry for him - on his first start too. Many of us said we were light on strikers and so it proves. Just a thought - Ferguson back in January maybe? #BHAFC

The thing that's really struck me lately is how dangerous the full-backs are looking. In this system they underlap often and it can be devastating.
