The summer school is jointly funded by the London Mathematical Society and the University of Warwick Department of Statistics (via CRiSM).

📖 The summer school will feature three lecture courses and two plenary talks by renowned experts in the field, covering topics such as robust statistics, conformal prediction and distribution-free inference, algorithmic robustness and stability, differential privacy and data contamination.

The successful candidate will also be expected to deliver excellent teaching and student project supervision in Statistics, Data Science and related areas. Other positive indicators include enthusiasm for engagement with other disciplines, within and outside the Department.

You will have the opportunity to join one of the world’s most prominent and most research-active departments. We are looking for researchers with a strong track record and outstanding promise in one or more areas of Statistical Methodology and Theory, Computational Statistics and Machine Learning.

During the session, you will hear from our MSc Director and current students about the programme, application process, and postgraduate life at Warwick, followed by an opportunity to ask your questions.

Her current work introduces 'prequential posteriors' as a likelihood-free approach for data assimilation. She will travel to Seville to present her work at ICSDS 2025 in December.
