If you only have time for one podcast today, make it this one. It’s a brilliant explainer on class consciousness and what real community solidarity looks like. Everyday choices either build community or hand more power to the corporatists creating an Australia of haves and have-nots.

Bravo! 👏

This is the correct question
There were cops present, watching & listening to the nazis as they broke laws around hate speech & inciting hate. Were they instructed not to intervene .... with bats, pepper spray & arrests .... like they do with climate change or anti genocide protesters??
What instructions were they given ??

Cost to fund SNAP and keep 42 million people from starving:

$100 billion

Cost of lost revenue due to tax cuts for the richest Americans in the top 1%:

$100 billion

One is decried as "welfare." One is not.

Why?

Now I'm going to censor all you plebeians helping out underprivileged Palestinians . . .

Gosh, will you look at my view

Loved this poddie. Listened to their 1st episode last week not long after the Lattouf decision

What struck me was both Antoinette Lattouf & Jan Fran have been pushed out of the ABC by the manipulative Israel lobby

Two brilliant women, great minds - lost forever to Australia's national broadcaster
Perhaps the government appointed anti-Semitism envoy Segal could start with monitoring her husband’s support of spinning media narratives before giving advice to ABC and SBS? Just an idea.

In a less imperfect world, Musk and Trump would be forever cast as killers of children, and this would be front-page news for months and the subject of Sunday sermons in every church.
NEW: The death shadow cast by Musk.

“When U.S.-supported soup kitchens were forced to close, babies starved quietly, their mothers said, while older siblings died begging for food.”

The world’s richest man did this to the world’s poorest children.

Don’t ever forget.
In Sudan, where children clung to life, doctors say USAID cuts have been fatal
The Trump administration’s cuts to USAID had an immediate and deadly impact in war-ravaged Sudan, according to civilians, doctors and aid officials.

There is still no baby formula allowed into Gaza. Israel is not only bombing and shooting a starving, exhausted civilian population, it’s banned baby formula. Babies under 6 months can only have breastmilk or formula. Their mothers are starving and have no milk. Milk. Must. Enter.
