Official #WASPI: Women Against State Pension Inequality campaigning for compensation as recommended by PHSO for lack of notice of State Pension age changes.

It was only the #WASPI legal action which brought the correct evidence to the DWP Secretary of State’s attention and forced him to reconsider the decision not to award compensation. Thank you to everyone who contributed to our legal fund to enable this to happen. #NotGoingAway

As someone who has been campaigning in support of the WASPI women for many years, It’s welcome news that the government is now rethinking its earlier decision to not compensate the WASPI women. This week I urged the Secretary of State to meet with campaigners and finally deliver a fair deal.
