I think right now we aren't looking for politicians who can write good laws, manage complex organizations, whip votes, or negotiate deals behind the scenes. We're looking for catharsis. And I'm on the fence about whether we're right to want that.

I'm also glad that 12th and Jackson has bus service again, as opposed to when it was cut off because that area was an open air drug market.

I like that I can wait for the bus at 3rd and Pike without seeing people overdose on the sidewalk, which was not true last year.

Jayapal is good, but I'd love to see a primary challenge against Adam Smith. He's not awful but I think we could do much better.

I don't want to primary Jayapal, but Murray is 74. If she's re-elected in '28, she'll be serving in her 80s. We need new blood.
