Couldn't agree more. An ex hated Paramore, The Music and Charlatans, she then put on Snow Patrol. Glad that relationship didn't work out (didn't even like the early stuff, just their MOR stuff!)
After a great gig by my favourite band, my partner announced she'd been really bored and despised the music. It finally made me accept that we just weren't meant to be together. I could tolerate all her other crap, but saying bad things about Teenage Fanclub meant the end.
