I drew an isometric cut-away ship for a German RPG called Adventure Islands not too long ago. It was a lot of fun, though a little tricky at times 🙂
Boats and ships are amongst my favourite things to draw maps for, but this is the only isometric one I've done.

And this is the style I picked. Took a little time to choose - usually I add directional shadow based on a light source (I think they call it the...ah....sun).
But you can reorientate these cards so didn't want that. Settled on this style with the help of @lexikonical.bsky.social!

One of the many little jobs that's keeping me busy ahead of my first game con at Norwich Game Con is redesigning D12 Locations....I'm not a designer, so this is pretty challenging, but it is a definite improvement over the previous design.
Any thoughts on the design, let me know!

Terrain By Hand has been hard at work making a fabulous diorama that'll be given away to a worthy cause at Norwich Game Con this August.

A couple more in progress shots of my isometric dungeon map that'll be included in the Dungeon Map Maker Map Pack!
It was a fun map to draw; working within the constraints of the game forced me to lay it out differently than I normally would as well encouraging me to add some elements new to me...
