It’s wonderful to hear from @angbroadbridge.bsky.social in the 🍂 Autumn edition of Juno magazine.

She was featured in their ‘my life, my way’ section, talking about how we can redesign #MaternalMentalHealth support for young mothers.

Dr Nisha Sharna from Leeds Teaching Hospitals talking about how data needs to be joined up.

We have systems for recording patient info but they don’t talk to each other effectively. Patients will often be unaware clinicians don't have access to every system.
Sharing data will create efficiencies

🥳 We’ve been blown away by the incredible work from the National Innovation Centre for Data trainees from the Data Innovation Bootcamp. In five days, they developed three practical and realistic ways to unlock the value in Ways to Wellness patient data, which we’re excited to explore further.

Sonia Townend and Ang Broadbridge were with NICD trainees, looking at a data science challenge - how do we unlock the value of data on over 11,000 Ways to Wellness patient journeys?

They will work together through the week on this challenge, and on Friday, they will get to hear their ideas.

Pictured is Dr Jack Mosley, son of the late Michael, who gave a view on weight-loss meds like Ozempic as a tool to help, but urged they're not the full story, with ultra-processed food a factor, as well as the fact patient discussions around weight should focus on health impact not figs on a scale!

Day 1 concluded with a session on how lifestyle medicine can support #obesity. Panellists agreed it's more complex for many than simply moving more & eating less
