It's disturbing watching the left hurtling towards fascism without hardly anyone realising you can just get off the bus. You don't have to lock male rapists up with women. You don't have to hate the Jews. You shouldn't advocate for the position that terrorism is justified in certain circumstances.

You know I like to swim against the tide here, so I'll just say this: political violence is wrong.
It doesn't matter how offensive you think someone's views are. They have the right to hold them and express them. You have the right to criticise or ignore them.

Other people's opinions, especially when they're expressed when you're nowhere around, do not actually make you unsafe. I can't believe that it has to be pointed out to adults that unknown ideas can't hurt you.

It's kind of mad to go to a part of the world that violently suppresses political challenge, try to change their operational policies as an individual citizen, and expect that to go well.

I've seen no evidence Peggie is bigoted. AIUI, the law is clear that the health board must provide single sex changing spaces. So the fact that Dr Upton is both legally and biologically male is pertinent to the case. Acknowledgement of sex, where it is relevant, is not transphobia or bigotry.
