I think this quote from the Council speaks volumes.

Certain online agitators wanting to stand outside a school because the family education services being offered includes Asylum Seekers too.

Solidarity with staff at Dalmarnock Primary tomorrow & everyone just wanting to provide education to all 💚

Dalmarnock Primary's been offering family learning for years.

It's sad *some* parents are boycotting a school cause asylum seeker families get that support too via ESOL.

Funny how certain folk never raised PVG concerns for other family learning on offer...

Glasgow's Vistor Levy Forum will have both Community & Worker voices sitting on it after Green amendments agreed unanimously. 💚✊️

This will help balance the voices from big business who sit on the forum, to make sure investment focuses on people who live and work in Glasgow too 🏘

Tonight we have the chance to qualify for our first World Cup since 1998. It could be spectacular.

And every single group game has been shown live on free-to-view TV.

Our national team is for all of us. It should never return to being hidden behind a paywall.

'Lost' name of North Glasgow returns as community remembers the Garngad
When the people of the Garngad voted to change the area’s name to Royston, a little piece of North Glasgow history almost disappeared.

He who holds Stirling, holds Scotland....

Well done to Cllr Tollemache in helping oust the Tory/Lab Council, & instead offer a progressive alternative 💚

Looking forward to his work as Transport & Net Zero Convenor in fighting for public ownership of buses, & community-owned renewables ✊️
Very proud my friend and colleague Alasdair Tollemache has entered a progressive agreement to join the Stirling Council administration! He will work hard to cut climate emissions and bills for Stirling's communities, improve buses, protect tenant's rights and restore nature💚

Wonderful to see the shortlist designs of the Nelson Mandela statue, to be unveiled next year from @mandelasmf.bsky.social 💚

It'll be a symbol of Glasgow's solidarity in standing with those oppressed in the heart of the city✊️

Come along to the City chambers until Friday 14th to see the shortlist 💚

Labour's Pride in Place Funding is actually cutting investment to Glasgow by millions ❌️

@jonmolyneux.bsky.social has hit out at the risk to jobs & has called on Glasgow's Labour politicians to grow a backbone & stand up for Glasgow with us against these cuts. ✊️💚

I don't know what's worse - thinking you can get away with flouncing landlord laws, or not knowing while being *Chancellor*.

Angela Rayner went after breaking the law - pal of the the PM or not, so should Reeves. ❌️

My thoughts on Glasgow Greens' defections 💚

TL:DR:

- New leadership must sit up, listen, & *act* as a radical alternative to the status quo, not just the rhetoric of one 🗣

- This & left unity can rebuild trust with voters crying out for change ✊️

Today's Dennistoun Digest is a Scottish Green Conference special. 💚

We see Zack Polanski bring Greens down south to record highs, but that enthusiasm isn't as matched in Scotland.

Why? And what can we do to make it happen?
