Our roomie has a power scooter for getting around outside the home, and yeah, it's brutal. Not only was it a full time job trying to get the thing in the first place, but they have to pay for repairs out of pocket. While on permanent disability. It's wild.

The host hopefully will have a bit more perspective once their event is over! Sometimes people get grumpy about something that messes with their day, and only upon reflection realize that in the grand scheme, it was all fine, and no one can predict a medical emergency.
