Ormston House Artist-in-Residence Mary Conroy has created a Hollywood Star for Constance Smith.

Connie’s star is the first piece of sculpture dedicated to any woman in Limerick city.

The sculpture will be unveiled in Limerick’s People's Park on 9 October at 1pm.

The next National Demonstration for Palestine is on Saturday 4th of October. Gathering at 12.30pm, and leaving at 1pm from the Garden of Remembrance.
Marking two years of Israel's genocide in Gaza, mourning all the beautiful lost Palestinians and raging at the culture of impunity that allows this.

On Saturday, October 11th the Limerick Family Planning Clinic will screen a short documentary film about the history of the clinic as it celebrates its 50th Anniversary. The screening will be followed by music and songs performed by local musicians. It takes place in TUS Millennium Theatre, 7:30pm.
