Pope Francis wasn’t perfect, but for an old, white Catholic he was a radical badass. Pope Francis made his stance on the Palestinian genocide abundantly clear, and the Isra3li ambassador going to such lengths to attend his funeral feels like an attempt to rewrite the Pope’s relationship with Isra3l.

For me, I will remember Francis as the Pope who called the Holy Family Church in Gaza every day as the city, and even the church itself, was bombed by Israel.
