PSA: Golden Ears Bridge West Sidewalk is closed with an estimated reopening of October 22.

Directional signage will be in place to redirect pedestrian and cyclist traffic to the alternative open sidewalk.

Existing temporary sidewalk detour to remain in effect. Only one side of the bridge is open to pedestrians and cyclists.

A resolution has been put forward at the Union of BC Municipalities to give municipalities the power to set their own default speed limits on local roads. This resolution is a big deal for road safety, but it needs to pass. Tell your Mayor and Council to say YES!
