I did reassure attendees that if they didn't want to ride with the threat of showers that it wasn't a big deal. So far today, we've had 7 people drop out. But 3 people signed up!

So, uh, we were sold out but now there's 4 tickets remaining if you'd like to join us tomorrow!

The latest forecast is now saying "Mainly cloudy, 20C".

Huzzah, the ride will be going ahead as planned.

The weather doesn't look super amazing right now for our Sunday ride to Steveston but also not rainy enough to postpone. A final call will be made tomorrow morning, but if you have a ticket and decide not to come, please cancel it.

The VULC has its GBBW ride to Steveston this weekend. Please note that this is *not* a rain or shine event. If the forecast calls for sustained rain, the event will be postponed. A decision will be made on Saturday morning (Sept 27th). Attendees will be notified by email if it is postponed.

Instead, we urge them to adopt the work increasing transit in the park, restore substantial portions of the temporary bike lane, and direct staff to seriously address the goals of reducing private vehicle use and safely increasing active transportation.

In a time frame that is not 22 years.😒
