Everyone wants comp titles. I haven't found any other flyball cozy murder mysteries. Or any cockroach epic soap operas. I understand that they want to get an idea of how it markets, but I DON'T KNOW. Some write in well-established niches with built in audiences. That isn't the entire literary world.

Uh Oh. On our walk, we saw a gruesome scene where Santa's reindeer have gone rogue and slaughtered santas, Frosty the snowman, gingerbread men, and grinches in yards throughout the neighborhood. The carnage was everywhere!

Honestly? Laurel would probably think it's Stan in disguise. Once she was sure that was not the case, she would carefully collect it into a dog crate and start googling how to reach the nearest zoo to get it back home.
Working on the cover art for a book I am going to release soon, and it makes me ponder how much of creating art is having a vision and sticking to it verses being open to exploring what you discover and sort of trip into?

So, there was a writer's coffee thing today. I put it on my calendar, showered, wore one of my "Lying to Strangers for Fun and Profit" shirts, but somehow couldn't actually make myself go. The idea of just hanging out, talking, sounds hideously terrifying. #networkingchallenge #ItsmeImtheproblem
