Recently, my Windows 2000 install was broken on my ThinkPad thanks to me uninstalling WMP9, so I decided to try Windows 98 to see if it would be any faster. I can say it is faster for startup and basic tasks, but it is so much more of a pain to set up properly. I am not 9x versed.

So I ended up having to be visible on April Fools Day instead of Transgender Day of Visibility, but better late than never.
I wish I could be visible every day.

Random technology thought,
As much as fiber is generally better, it still amazes me how much they have managed to squeeze out of a cable that was originally designed to carry TV signals.
I never would have expected this cable to be able to carry gigabit internet.

The thing I struggle with on BlueSky is gaining an audience. On Twitter, my reach is small, but is massive compared to what I have here.

Update: I went to bed around 12:40 AM (00:40), and it took me about as long as usual to fall asleep, which is 30+ minutes, but that's normal. Although it is worth noting I was sleeping in a different house.

Having a KVM is honestly extremely convenient just so I don't have to fiddle around with keyboards and mice whenever I want to switch between my Mac and Windows PC.

May I present the first actual Apple product I've bought new with my own money.
I've been wanting to both learn MacOS better and give it a fair chance when my only other Mac is a Late 2009 Mini.
I am really excited to use it!
Only thing is I can't yet because I need a USB hub.
