Zero or old knowledge feels like the problem. When others think covid is just another cold virus, they have little incentive to learn otherwise. I could scare the crap out of them, if only they'd ask! We'll get through our old age in much better shape, though, and that's worth it.

I was pondering this just the other day after viewing yet another ancient DNA video -- what causes societies and cultures to collapse? They seem to build great cultures, then are swept under the sand.
