A lot of it was ridiculously impractical on purpose. Shows that you aren't doing any work, because you couldn't possibly work in such absurd clothing. And if you're not working, you can AFFORD not to work.

It's like that time in early MMA where a guy who clearly had no idea what he was doing was there and the wrestler fighting him was SO excited he got to do a real chokeslam in a fight. The kind of thing that's awesome but usually stopped by basic competence.

Chase fights like a drunk hobo trying to claim the last heroin needle and he still makes Tate look like he's never been in the ring before. Wasn't Tate legit at some point? Did he really get so lazy he lost literally everything?

Not super particularly, it makes sense that you could get through not being that smart. Still just a surprise cause all that studying is real work you have to do. Guess they get lazy after.
