It has occurred to me that this Dissolve NATO by Invading Greenland strategy also helps Trump with his desire that Canada be a US state:
Canada was a founding NATO member.
We'd be at war with Canada. Trump could invade Canada and seize territory, just like Russia did in Ukraine.

Our government is written with the naive assumption that unethical people will never hold public office, or if they do everyone else will remove them.
It allowed laziness from Congress in writing laws and Amendments, so I find it odd that anyone is surprised that so much of it can be circumvented.

Appoint Trump as Speaker of the House, and then the GOP President and VP resign, and as Trump is not being elected President (just Speaker), he can become President.
The Amendment is too specifically written, so it has a loophole: as long as he isn't elected President, he can serve a third term.
