This is not a rational person. And this is deeply disturbing coming from an American President. NATO is not our enemy—they are unequivocally our closest friends and allies.

At this point, how can you not call into question the mental fitness of this President?

Okay, let's go over the movies DW Griffith made that his supporters have tried to frame as "apologies" for BIRTH OF A NATION.

INTOLERANCE (1916) is usually the first one named, which is absurd because of the film itself and the accompanying tract Griffith wrote making clear *he* was the victim.

There are more people looking to sell their homes right now than there are looking to buy, especially in Austin, Texas. But while the market might be tilted towards buyers, that could shift in 2026.
Home sellers outnumbered buyers in December, especially in Austin
In December, there were 47% more home sellers than home buyers across the U.S., according to data from Redfin. In Austin, Texas it was even more extreme, with sellers outnumbering buyers by 128%.

My late father would have loved Blue Sky because of all the photos of the birds posted here. After he retired he became a bird watcher. And then he began collecting small figurines of birds. His collection is the nicest remembrance I have of him.

BARTIROMO: I mean, we talk about evil action from Putin going into Ukraine. People are looking at Greenland and saying, 'How is it possible the US can acquire another country even though they're pushing back?'

LUTNICK: I don't remember Greenland being another country. We're not taking over Denmark.

Remember, if Trump invades Greenland, several things happen:

1) NATO dissolves. Putin has desired this for years.

2) All members of NATO, including Canada, go to war with the US. Even better for Putin.

This could allow Trump to invade Canada, seize territory, and declare a 51st state.

So ICE agents will run up to protesters, scream "You're in my way!" and tear gas them.

Some of the smarter ICE agents might even point beyond the protesters and yell "I see an illegal immigrant!" first.

Interesting. So if the US invades Greenland, NATO dissolves.

NATO, that organization Putin has been railing against for decades.

Trump invading Greenland may be designed to appease Putin by dissolving NATO.

Since this level of strategy seems absent from the Trump Admin, Putin probably wrote it.
I found this very interesting perspective thread on FB.

The US is being terrorized by a domestic terror organization called ICE.

They are going door-to-door. They are stealing and kidnapping people. They have killed over 30 people so far.

We are being terrorized by the US government and what you have to do first is acknowledge it.

Anyone who listens to the testimony of Trump/Epstein child sex trafficking ring victim Sascha Riley must wonder who in govt. besides Trump, Jim Jordan, Lindsay Graham, Andy Biggs and Clarence Thomas were involved. Those are ONLY the ones he's POSITIVELY SURE of. More victims = more names.

Tariffs aren't great, but avoiding invasions and military strikes by giving Trump his Tariffs Chew Toy is about as much of a "win" as we can get these days without intervention from the courts.

TACO Trump has threatened the thing Trump Always Chickens Out about.
Trump says on Feb 1 he will impose a 10% tariff “on any and all goods sent” to US from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, UK, Netherlands, & Finland, increasing to 25% June 1 “until such time as a Deal is reached for the Complete and Total purchase of Greenland.”

They're like if Captain Renault was genuinely shocked, shocked to find that he had been gambling with actual money.
American commentators and right wing politicians are expressing shock that countries they have repeatedly threatened with invasion, disrespected on the international stage, and economically bullied are forging new alliances.

Sorry guys, but it’s FAFO time.

Face it, analog captures all of the sounds, while digital is forced to cut a significant portion of the ambient sounds out of the recording.

The requirements of digital recording mean I don't think its possible to duplicate the wide spectrum analog recording capability with any digital format.
Somebody was trying to tell me that CDs are better than vinyl because they don't have any surface noise. I said, "listen mate, life has surface noise."
