Why, if there’s been no rain, do we have mushrooms? I’m holding it upright. The dark head was sticking out of the ground and the white was underground.

My sister sold my mom’s gold jewelry. Seems with gold over $4,000, my sister is no longer sentimental.

Keep political arguments simple and on point. If you want someone to help in the food pantry, you don’t need to convert them to your religion and make sure that their position on the trinity and transubstantiation agrees with yours, just give them a simple reason to help in the food pantry.

Texas Republicans’ already have 3 more seats than they deserve from the current gerrymandered map. 58.43% of Texas congressional votes were Republican, which should be 22 of the 38 seats, but they hold 25. Now they want 5 more. You don’t “deserve” nearly 80% of the seats for 58% of the votes.

A trade deficit, means the US is rich and buy a lot of stuff, not that we’re being a chump.

When a rich person pays a lot of taxes, it means they’re rich and playing a key roll in society, not that they’re being a chump.

Trying to understand what part of the Epstein Hoax is a hoax. Is there really no such person as Jeffrey Epstein? Did he really not die? Did he just happen to be standing beside Trump in all those videos and pictures? Where’s the hoax?
Trump’s habit of referring to any damaging information as a “hoax” has never been more laughable or concerning than it is here. https://trib.al/MFGDzdt

Slavery was not a zero sum game, it diminished whites as well as blacks. Its end should be celebrated by all.
the destruction of chattel slavery is one of the great accomplishments in our nation's history and the reason conservatives hate celebrating it is because doing so legitimizes the black counter-narrative of the united states

Me: I shouldn’t have to do the dishes tonight, it’s Father’s Day.

Wife: I agree, it’s Father’s Day. You can clean the kitchen tomorrow.
