You missed one!
Mind you, so did the rest of the world in 1985.

Magnificent.
My first proper ‘punk rock’ gig was The Killjoys at the Stuart Hall, Norwich in 1977 and he hasn’t disappointed me since!
Many happy returns, Mr Rowland.

Helluva good live band!
Photographed them many times.
Here they are in March 1982, tearing up the Gala Ballroom, Norwich (the night before Country classics with Wichita and Delta Dawn, judging by the poster behind).

Ah, the Lyceum was a great venue.
Drove down from Norwich after scanning the Sounds gig guide and spotting who was 3rd on the bill, parked right outside, ran in (having bought tickets ON THE DOOR) and entered the hall to hear Moz say ‘Thank you and good night’.

After decades of waiting, I finally got to see Vic and the Subway Sect on the streets of Somerstown a number of years ago - still stunning! And spotted @birmingham81.bsky.social in the flesh during their set - bonus!

I had one in the house just the other day! It didn’t stay. Nice sounds, but felt twice the size (and weight) of my Jazz Bass!

The guitarist in my band (Chris Evans, the Welsh Wizard) plays this magnificent 1968 example.
It sounds incredible.

The last time the missus and I were at the pointy end of youth culture, a journey taken by coach from Norwich into the heart of Madchester.
