Social media was a mistake.
You only have to experience a few of these things (or a ton of others that won't fit) to be pessimistic about the economy as long as the actors and structures that are causing things to be this way remain entrenched.

Prices are high. Housing is high. Job market is tight. The stock market is propped up by an AI bubble; even if it's not a bubble, success means an employment bloodbath. A spoiled madman with no opposition can wound the economy with a tweet. Government services are threatened/cut.
