it’s like act 4 tried to take revenge on me personally for this tweet. a painful level of immersion (as it should have been considering the content)
i finished act ii of the archon quest last night and all the characters are very dear to me/the story itself was interesting but i can’t deny that i didn’t feel as engaged as i did in the last three nation’s archon quests? and i think that’s because the gameplay isn’t as incorporated into the story

yae and her childhood friend mizuki. kokomi and yae as tactician shrine maiden competitor friends. kokomi and ei representing the two remaining parts of inazuma. mizuki and kokomi forming a working relationship. all of them coming together to help ei work through some of her trauma. etc
i'm starting to feel like inazuma has a lesbian polycule actually

she has had perhaps some of the most natural character growth in the game. i just wish the fans weren't either 0 or 100 about her because her characterization is so delicate. they don't appreciate her as she is and it's too bad
