One crumb I'm holding on to in the UK right now - at no point has the ostensibly right wing bloc - Reform and Con - got over 50%. If this were Sweden, then the Red/Green would have about a 50 seat majority over the Tido parties.

I tried a chicken version of pork scratchings back in 2019, were way too salty. I've settled on jalapeno pretzel pieces as my indulgent choice. There's also a dry noodle snack called Mamee Monster that I briefly got into where you have to shake the flavour into them like Salt N Shake

when in reality that electorate will never exist in the UK in the numbers necessary. That allows the Left to never have to compromise on their "ideals", never have to sully themselves by embracing the folk in the soft economic centre-left ground they need to get over the line.

ALL extremist, populist parties and orgs are reactionaries who don't actually want power - or more specifically responsibilities - including the Corbynite/Bernie left / socialist tendency - their popularity and legitimacy lies in being the voice of protest and outrage, not of actually doing stuff.

App has updated today. You can now use it to pre-register for EES trips to Sweden up to 2 weeks in advance. More countries will follow suite hopefully; though I doubt Denmark/CPH will add themselves before Hallowe'en.

First headcold of the winter arrived yesterday - an inevitability considering I spent the weekend in a stadium and several packed trains.

Poundshop cold medication - specifically the Galpharm stuff - knocks spots off Lemsip. Stop overpaying for your phenylephrine.
