Tariffs will make us rich!
Impose 300% tariff on products which can’t be made in country (champagne). No can afford to buy the product anymore.
So no income from tariffs.
Or, some substitute is made in country and some more people buy it than they did before. Also, no tariff revenue.

The most disgusting thing I learned this week. Errol Musk, father of that guy, had a child with his step daughter. He was her father from when she was 4 years old. After he had impregnated her, he of course asked it she was sure it was his. The Apple sure didn’t fall far from the tree.

Bought some new dry food for the cats which they have decided they won’t eat. So have been taking some to feed local strays. Turbo has now decided it’s good enough to extract from my handbag and help himself. I guess it tastes good when it’s stolen!

I wrote this post on another SM platform 11 years ago when I was on a job in Libya. I was able to understand the frightful noise of warfare because Twitter was able to provide a current feed of local info, from local people. I don’t know where I’d seek such info now (and God forbid that I have to!)
