Besides linking Tylenol in pregnant women to autism, RFK Jr. now says circumcision is part of the reason why kids are autistic.

Oh my initial reply was supposed to be gunshy, as in they are risk averse and they feel nonwhite protagonists and women protagonists as a “risk”.

It’s why I think the brigading about Yasuke got to them so heavily: it justifies what they’ve always thought.

I’m miffed, plainly.

Oh agreed, absolutely.

Plus you know my thoughts about Unity following the wrong person. That’s very much Elise’s game— but somehow she’s an NPC.

And then the well known thing in any form of animation or game: pitch a character as darker because they’ll get lightened in every stage of iteration.

I don’t know if I’ll ever get back what I had.

If the many who said “I’d be thrilled to work with you again” ever will (I know about two would!). Going out in such a public fashion was necessary, but it understandably soured people.

On the other hand, if I hadn’t… it would’ve been worse. 🤷🏽‍♂️

It’s not the first time, and it won’t be the last.

Many of people being introduced to Ubisoft’s Star Wars: Outlaws now are questioning why it will never get a sequel and why the company who made it is trashing it.

The anti-woke brigade is killing games in infancy, and as this proves, before birth.

Some have said about Assassin's Creed games that "DEI kills art" but this might be a case where "anti-DEI" helped kill art.

Yeah but it’s no secret that Ubisoft has gotten more and more gunshot as time went on.

Sure, they finally let a woman lead a mainline game with Evie, but only after being lambasted.

It’s a very reactive company over there, and always towards what they deem safest.

That’s the problem with taking a year off, the excitement to work with me, the interest, the momentum, that’s all gone.

And any credits I have mean less compared to the gaping whole where I did nothing, and said nothing.

This would’ve slapped but Ubisoft took the coward’s route and capitulated to racists. A shame.

Extra ironic considering they’ve had two previous Assassin’s Creed releases where you play as a Black character who kills slavers and frees slaves.
