I coach high school Ultimate Frisbee. It is a niche sport where you call your own fouls, most of them close cousins to pass interference. It *mostly* works, though this is beside a corollary point: in certain school districts this is what the doctors permit their own kids to play competitively.

It is ungovernable and over-legislated. As Carlin put it, it is brief bouts of violence punctuated by committee meetings. The college game is arguably worse. Underpinning all of it is a deeply problematic ethical horror show involving CTE.
