Remember when the minor concessions Manchester City secured around these rules were breathlessly declared a death knell for PSR? And now they’ve quietly passed with basically no opposition. I have to say, personally, I’d be embarrassed I’d reported them in in that manner.
Premier League clubs voted 16-4 in favour of the changes to APT rules, which was top of the agenda and all very quick. No club spoke out against before the vote.
