In mid-July, HBCU Poltiics posted this very article regarding Kirk's incendiary tweet, “Stay armed. Stay vigilant. We have no idea how many sleeper cells are inside the United States. It’s an unforgiveable weakness Biden left this country with. Stay alert. Pray.” hbcupolitics.com/2025/07/21/n...
No Consequences, No Conscience: Why Charlie Kirk’s Dangerous Rhetoric Demands Religious and Civic Accountability
Charlie Kirk’s June 22nd tweet, cloaked in nationalism and evangelical language, was not a warning—it was a provocation. His calls to “stay armed” and “pray” under the guise of patriotism dangerous…

The GOP will come out and speak about how they abhor violence - as it relates to Charlie Kirk's death - while goating on the violence and terror that ICE flood communities with everyday.

A Secretary of DEFENSE who is wasting $1 billion on a name change (perhaps it is easier to spell when drunk).

The GOP has (again) allowed itself to be hijacked by domestic terrorist that presents itself as a political movement.

The Christian Right, Tea Party, and MAGA are just the latest in a long line of descendent institutions still fighting the Civil War.

This is the foolishness I mean. There is no way we can begin to act like the political violence we are experiencing is "Fair and Balanced" and both sides. It is NOT.

I am a moderate so I have no problem calling out both sides when it is justified. This is NOT one of those times.

Charlie Kirk was not a conservative or an activist. He was very much a domestic terrorist and media outlets treating his legacy with kid gloves is part of the reason we are in this situation.

Continuing to allow space and credence to those sowing violence should be shuddered to the shadows.

PPI is not as soft as it appears (and the president wishes). The trade services component is margins for wholesalers and retailers. They largely declined and the overall trade services index was -1.7%, suggesting middlemen absorbed tariff costs. That drove the big decline in the overall index.

I think being/looking ridiculous is the playbook.
Donald Trump’s push for a Gaza peace deal was thrown into doubt after Israeli strikes hit negotiators in Qatar.

“Let’s be blunt,” Jack Blanchard says on #playbookpod, “This makes President Trump look absolutely ridiculous.”
